La “Route de la feuille de coca”

Notre association veut faire connaître partout en Europe les avantages et bénéfices de la feuille de coca, afin de constituer un mouvement solidaire et social conséquent, pour changer le statut juridique de la feuille de coca et de ses dérivés traditionnels en Europe, basé sur les concepts de développement durable et commerce équitable.

Entre mai 2012 et avril 2013, nous avons mis en place à petite échelle un système de distribution, avec l’envoi des paquets de 150 grammes de feuilles de coca depuis la Bolivie à nos membres, environ 100 personnes dans 14 pays européens. Malheureusement, la société postale de Bolivie, apparemment avec l’approbation du palais présidentiel, a décidé de mettre fin à ces envois. Au Pérou tout le commerce de la feuille de coca doit nécessairement passer par la Société Nationale de Coca, ce qui signifie que le prix va augmenter de manière disproportionnée.

Notre conclusion est qu’il reste nécessaire de développer une proposition solide pour l’exportation digne et souveraine de la feuille de coca depuis la Bolivie et le Pérou. Une proposition élaborée et partagée par ces producteurs afin qu’ils soient les premiers à bénéficier de cette alternative au marché illégal.

Pour cela, nous avons décidé d’organiser le voyage d’une délégation d’Européens dans ces deux pays, afin de proposer notre coopération aux organisations de producteurs de feuilles de coca et d’autres produits artisanaux dérivés, pour qu’ensemble nous poussions nos gouvernements à l’ouverture d’un marché légal de la feuille coca en Europe.

Nous organiserons ce voyage, intitulée “Sur les Routes de la Feuille de Coca”, en Juin 2015. Pendant le voyage, nous rencontrerons les dirigeants des organisations de producteurs de coca, des experts, des médias et des représentants des gouvernements du Pérou et Bolivie.

Pendant, 3 à 4 semaines, nous cheminerons de Cuzco à La Paz, dans la région de Cochabamba, ainsi que celles de culture de la feuille de coca à La Convención (Quillabamba), Los Yungas et le Chapare.
