VERDICT A BARRACANNA, RENNES

COMMUNIQUE DE PRESSE DE L’ASSOCIATION ANTIPROHIBITIONNISTE BARACANNA


Le 3 mai 2007, le verdict concernant le procès du président et des
vendeurs-conseils est tombé :

Pour incitation à la consommation et pour consommation-détention, 2 vendeurs-conseils ont été condamnés à 120 heures de Travaux d’Intérêt

Général, l’autre vendeur-conseil qui avait quitté le procès avant la fin,
sous prétexte qu’il avait autre chose à faire que d’assister au procès,
a, lui été condamné à 3 mois de prison avec sursis sans mise à l’épreuve
et 600 € d’amende. Le président, Jean-Charles Petitjean, au vu de son
lourd passé judiciaire, a été condamné à 12 mois de prison avec sursis
avec 24 mois de mise à l’épreuve avec obligation de travailler et de se
soigner (ce qui veut dire : arrêter de consommer du chanvre psychotrope) et 1000 € d’amende.

Ce dernier a fait appel au prétexte que :

l’incitation à la consommation n’était pas avérée, l’association Baracanna
incitait des personnes déjà consommatrices à s’autoproduire, plutôt que
d’enrichir les mafias et de consommer des produits frelatés,
deuxièmement, la consommation du président est strictement médicale, il
utilise le chanvre psychotrope en substitution au tranxène, rohypnol…

De plus la relaxe a été prononcée sur les faits de transport, puisqu’il a
été prouvé que les 4 militants s’autoproduisaient et une autre relaxe a
été prononcée sur l’incitation au trafic, (un non lieu avait été rendu
lors de l’instruction au sujet du trafic de stupéfiants, en l’état des
graines de chanvre, car est considéré comme stupéfiant en parlant de
cannabis, au nom de la Convention Internationale de 1961, seules les
sommités fleuries sont un stupéfiants mais pas les feuilles ni les tiges
et encore moins les graines).

Par ailleurs le procès étant passé, Jean-Charles Petitjean, le président
n’étant plus sous contrôle judiciaire avec interdiction de gérer ou
d’administrer une association ou une entreprise, va créer une nouvelle
association BARACANNA-BIS. Rendez-vous à la rentrée sur la toile et à
Rennes.
