Nel mirino dei carabinieri gli stupefacenti mascherati, deodoranti per ambiente, erbe e allucinogeni. Sottratti al mercato anche 100 chili di cannabis per un valore sul mercato di oltre quattro milioni.


Vendere lo sballo attraverso prodotti naturali, erboristici, e dunque apparentemente innocui rispetto alle droghe più comunemente utilizzate per tirarsi su. E’ uno dei nuovi business della cirminalità internazionale, quello delle smart drugs, ovvero delle cosiddette droghe furbe, composti di origine sia naturale sia sintetica non proibiti dalla legge sugli stupefacenti. Un business che si muove tramite Internet e la rete dei negozi smart shop, ma che ha subito una dura battuta d’arresto grazie alla maxi operazione condotta in 15 regioni e 54 province italiane dai carabinieri, che hanno perquisito ben 122 locali commerciali in cui le smart drugs erano camuffate all’interno di prodotti indicati come profumatori di ambienti.

L’operazione “Profumo di droga” ha portato al sequestro preventivo dell’azienda Tessier-Ashpool srl di Peschiera Borromeo (Milano), all’esecuzione di sette ordinanze di custodia cautelare e al sequestro di un laboratorio di produzione clandestina di sostanze psicotrope di sintesi, di 3 tonnellate di erbe, di 20mila deodoranti per ambienti contenenti cannabinoidi sintetici, 30 kg di allucinogeno e di 100 chili di cannabis. Partita per accertare le cause di ricovero di un ragazzo napoletano, che aveva assunto una sostanza tossica contenuta all’interno di un profumatore per l’ambiente, l’inchiesta a opera della Procura della Repubblica di Napoli ha in realtà delineato “un quadro criminale d’insieme, caratterizzato da una clientela altamente fidelizzata e costituita per lo più da giovanissimi in età adolescenziale”.

Quello delle ‘smart drugs’ “è un nuovo fenomeno sociale”, ha spiegato il viceomandante dei Nas, Antonio Amoroso, rimarcando la necessità di mettere in allerta i genitori sui potenziali rischi di queste sostanze, che “possono incidere in maniera seria sul corretto sviluppo neuro cerebrale”. Più cauto il ministro della Salute, Ferruccio Fazio, che senza parlare di allarme sociale spiega però che contro queste droghe “l’attenzione del ministero della Salute è costante e deve rimanere sempre alta”, anche grazie a “una grande collaborazione con i Nas”. A tale proposito Fazio ha ricordato che sono state aggiunte, nel 2010, due nuove smart drugs nella tabella delle sostanze stupefacenti proibite.
