POURQUOI FAIRE MOURIR BERNARD RAPPAZ ?

Le 2O Mars, Bernard Rappaz, pionnier des chanvriers suisses, était
emprisonné à la suite du jugement qui l’avait condamné à 5 ans et 8 mois
de prison. Il avait tenté entre temps d’obtenir une révision équitable de
son procès, sans résultat.

Avec obstination, il commençait alors une grève de la faim pour le même
motif. Le 10 Mai, une mesure de santé humanitaire le renvoyait chez lui,
en liberté surveillée.

Le 21 Mai, il a été réincarcéré et a recommencé de ne plus s’alimenter.
Depuis le 25 Mai, il ne s’hydrate plus.

Le procès de Bernard Rappaz avait comme point de départ la culture du
chanvre et l’exploitation diverse des récoltes : tisanes, coussins, etc,
exploitation faite en toute légalité puisque la Suisse a eu une période d’ouverture
avant de revenir à un prohibitionisme étroit. Seul le stock des récoltes
était en cause.

La cogérante de son entreprise n’a eu qu’une peine de sursis et de mise à
l’épreuve avec une légère amende. Comme d’ailleurs d’autres chanvriers
dans le même cas.

Les attendus du procès de B. Rappaz mélangent bizarrement la violation des
règles de sécurité routière, le délit de lésions corporelles simples, le
blanchiment d’argent ( tellement hypothétique que sa ferme doit être mise
en vente) et, cas extrêmement rarissime voire unique, les autorités se
sont appuyées sur une rétroactivité de la loi de 2001.

La personnalité frondeuse du chanvrier valaisan explique sans doute cet
acharnement judiciaire.

L’exemple récent du détenu -Skander Voigt- mort en cellule après avoir mis
le feu à son matelas pour protester contre ses conditions d’incarcération,
montre bien à quel point la Suisse ne supporte pas les contestataires.
Mais doit-on tolérer ces mises à mort en toute bonne conscience, qui
relèvent davantage d’homicides programmés, dictés par de barbares
négations des droits humains, que d’application de lois morales !

La justice valaisane s’est laissé emportée par ses rancoeurs personnelles envers Bernard Rappaz.

Cela ne justifie réellement pas que l’on meure pour faire reconnaître ses
droits.
