RASQUERA SOMETERÁ EL PLAN PARA CULTIVAR CANNABIS A CONSULTA POPULAR

El Ayuntamiento de Rasquera (Tarragona) organizará una asamblea popular para decidir si lleva adelante o no el cultivo de cannabis en la localidad, que el consistorio impulsa con la asociación de autoconsumo ABCDA. El resultado de la asamblea, que se celebrará el 10 de abril, será vinculante. Lo anunció ayer el alcalde de Rasquera, Bernat Pellisa (ERC), en una carta enviada a los vecinos.

La decisión de mediar en la cesión de siete hectáreas de terreno para plantar cannabis deberá ser refrendada por, como mínimo, el 75% de los vecinos. “La respuesta deberá ser sí o no. En caso de que gane el no, se revocará la decisión tomada en el pleno” del pasado 29 de febrero, especifica la carta. Por el contrario, si los vecinos apoyan el cultivo de marihuana “se llevará a cabo el proyecto previsto”, pese a las reticencias legales y a las investigaciones abiertas tanto por la fiscalía como por la abogacía del Estado.

Los concejales de ERC aprobaron el “plan anticrisis” con el voto en contra de los de CiU, que exigieron una consulta popular sobre el asunto. El consistorio organizará, la próxima semana, un “ágora cannabica” en la que políticos y promotores de la plantación tratarán de resolver las dudas de los vecinos. En la misiva, el consistorio sigue defendiendo el proyecto ante las críticas de que puede ser una vía para el tráfico de drogas. El cannabis cultivado será “el estrictamente necesario para el autoconsumo de los socios” de ABCDA (más de 5.000) y no será “comercializado”.

La marihuana se cultivará en invernaderos, que estarán vigilados con cámaras de seguridad las 24 horas del día. El Ayuntamiento sostiene que el proyecto generaría 40 puestos de trabajo y, según el convenio firmado con la entidad, le va a reportar 1,3 millones en dos años para sanear las cuentas públicas. Los ingresos provendrán de las cuotas pagadas por los socios de la ABCDA, que son similares a las que pagan los socios “de un gimnasio”. Además, subraya la carta, “los payeses pueden alquilar sus tierras” (…) de forma privad. “¡Ya está bien de hipocresía!”

El cultivo de cannabis “es una realidad social que existe en Cataluña desde hace años sin que hasta ahora ninguna administración lo hubiese hecho público”, según el consistorio.
