ENCOD’s Position Paper for the Civil Society Forum on Drug Policy in the European Union

People around the world are speaking and acting against the war on drugs. They challenge both the social stigma and legal consequences when publically questioning the corruption, legal insecurity and discrimination that is caused by the war on drugs. They are being persecuted or convicted for motives that are directly related to their political work. […]

Read also the first progress report of August, the report of September, that of October and of April 2011 On 4 March 2009 we organised the conference “Coca 2009 – from persecution to proposal” in the European Parliament in Brussels.
On 15 June, the European Commission organised a meeting of the core group of the EU Civil Society Forum on Drug Policy. Encod is a member of this group (together with Correlation, Irefrea, INPUD, EHRN and EURAD). The core group was formed during the last session of the CSF in March 2009.
