Working group on European Code of Conduct for Cannabis Social Clubs
This is the first message of the Cannabis Social Club Working Group of Encod. This group was formed during the latest GA in Prague and consists of the following people: Martin Barriuso (Spain), Myranda Bruin (Netherlands), Andre Fürst (Switzerland), Hanka Gabrielova (Czech Republic), Ingrid Wunn (Germany) Louis Everaerts, Martin Velten, Kris Verdonck and Joep Oomen (Belgium), as well as the remaining members of the Steering Committee: Fredrick Polak, Boaz Wachtel, Jorge Roque and Janko Belin.
In the meantime, Andreas Holy and David Rosse (Austria), Jean Michel Rodriguez (Spain), Martin Steldinger (Germany) Michalis Theodoropoulos (Greece), Alberto Sciolari (Italy) and Mark Palmer (UK) have been added to the group.
To join the working group, you have to be an Encod member. If you are a member please contact the secretariat to obtain more details.
The purpose of this working group is to elaborate a European code of conduct for Cannabis Social Clubs, with the aim of elaborating a label that current and future CSC’s could obtain, and which would guarantee that the holder of this label would be tied to the code of conduct. Thus, current and future Cannabis Social Clubs can convince local and national public opinion as well as authorities who may be skeptical about the CSC proposal at first sight.
Before 1st of October 2011, a first progress report will be published to the larger group. In the meantime, you can read about the progress here.
