On behalf of Encod, we wish to express our deep sorrow over the loss of our friend and comrade André Fürst, at the age of 53 years old, in Switzerland last Tuesday, 21 April. There are not many people like André in this world, who are willing and able to act against injustice and in favour of the common good. He has left us with his example, now it is up to us to follow it. See you André, thanks for everything.

It is not a secret: André Fürst is not in this world anymore, he left us this Tuesday 21 april 2015. All his friends and family members are in deep sorrow, I am also deeply touched. On behalf of Chanvre Info which was created by André, on behalf of the cause that he was engaged in, on behalf of the friendship and the trust that tied us, Chanvre Info continues in stormy weather. Leave us some time to recover from this shock. I will try to so a minimal job in the mean time.

I have not the heart to write an article to praise my friend. In the first place, I didn’t know enough details of his life before we met. This man was discrete and modest, I want to respect that! He was very engaged in many areas and he taught me a lot, but only in the areas that I worked in, which was yet a big thing. The least that one can say is that he was overwhelmed by projects and activities ! Inform yourself on his track record and you will quickly understand that you have to do with someone here who knew how to engage in a cause that he considered just.

His sudden disappearance leaves us with the taste of an unfinished existence. André had a project, above all others, with regards to legal CBD. He was tracing a way out. We will follow it and I announce you that his departure to the Other World has not stopped our determination to work for the cause of Hemp. You stay with us, André, for always!
