Herewith we wish you a happy new year 2016, hoping it will bring you good health and wellbeing.

In this opportunity we wish to invite you to K’intu, the representation of three worlds that are united in an offering. Three coca leaves carefully selected are used to exchange the energies of the participants. K’intu symbolises the integration of the body, mind and heart that brings balance between the three worlds: Hanaqpacha, Kaypacha y Ukhu Pasha.

In the Andean region there are various opportunities to offer the K’intu, one of them is in the third week of January when a ceremony takes place to thank Mother Earth for the fruits that were recieved and which are still to be recieved. It is an opportunity to embrace each other, leave the negative energies of the past year behind and welcome the new year.

This event will take place on Sunday 24 January in Antwerp, Belgium. It will be accompanied by traditional Andean music and food.

The members of the association Friends of the Coca Leaf who cannot make it to Antwerp that day are invited to a short meeting on Skype at 19.00 in which we will give you a short report on the event and we will discuss the forthcoming steps that we will take with the Association.
